BRAND NEW Ernie Ball Music Man Jason Richardson 7-String Cutlass HT in Death Mountain
The 2026 Jason Richardson Signature guitar collection is here. Featuring bold new finishes and an all-new 8-string hardtail, these guitars pair striking aesthetics with modern, high-performance design. Crafted with an alder body, buckeye burl top, and a roasted figured maple neck with an ebony fretboard, this new lineup spans 6-, 7-, and 8-string configurations and comes in three stunning finishes—Kokiri Forest, Water Temple, and Death Mountain. Exclusive Jason Richardson HT humbuckers deliver unmatched clarity and power, complemented by 24 stainless steel frets, innovative push/push electronics, and a custom Music Man tremolo on 6- and 7-string models. The 8-string model features a hardtail bridge and is designed for modern technical players, with a multiscale 25.5″–27″ scale length—from the high E to the low F#—providing exceptional clarity, tension, and articulation across its extended range. Built for precision and expression, this new lineup meets the demands of today’s most discerning players.
Jason Richardson HT Bridge pickup
The Jason Richardson HT bridge pickup outperforms standard-spec pickups with higher output, greater dynamic range, and excellent touch sensitivity. The pickup not only achieves high output but also garners a powerful low-end response while retaining a distinctively clean, clear tone and definition at lower volume levels.
Jason Richardson HT Neck Pickup with Coil Tap
Most tapped humbucking pickups produce a thin sound. HT technology offers superior power and enhanced richness compared to conventional tapped humbucker coils. The custom-wound pickup produces a more authentic, rich single-coil sound when the HT coil is tapped.
Push Push Boost Circuit
The preamp boost is activated by a push-push volume knob and is factory set to 12db. Via a trim pot inside the control cavity, the preamp can be adjusted up to 20db if needed for heavy rhythm parts or high-octane soloing whenever the user chooses.
